It fascinates me how the sea (on the Pacific Coast, near Oregon) changes in November, and what was reasonably calm just a few days before suddenly become winter-y and churning. I love the cloud activity in this image, almost mirroring the foam of the sea spray.

Thanks for your comment, Steve. Yes, the sea can change so much, often quickly. This was taken on a stormy, windy day, but the same sea can be still like a tropical pond, turquoise and transparent, even in winter.
